Our signature journey · planned itinerary

Singapore. Phuket. Kerala.

A long-form Ayurveda journey built around one simple principle: the travel itself should support the reason you are going.

The design principle

Do not arrive depleted.

For wellness-focused long-haul travel, we treat nonstop flights where available and real rest between flights as core parts of the plan. Multiple tight connections can take time and energy from the retreat before it begins.

That is why this itinerary starts with two or three nights in Singapore instead of an immediate onward flight. It also builds in a gentler return. The Phuket-to-Kerala leg currently requires a connection, so we plan that transfer carefully rather than describe it as nonstop.

The first treatment is a journey that leaves you room to breathe.

A journey in four movements

Purpose in every stop.

01

2–3 nights on arrival

Singapore

Arrive, then actually rest.

From New York or San Francisco, we favor a nonstop Singapore Airlines flight when the dates and cabin fit. The first stop is deliberately unhurried: sleep, eat well and give the long-haul flight time to settle before another airport day.

Choose Marina Bay Sands for a downtown stay with access to Banyan Tree Spa, or Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong for neighborhood food and a quieter base. We confirm spa appointments and room details before booking.

02

5 nights

Phuket, Thailand

A gentle start to the retreat.

Fly nonstop from Singapore to Phuket, usually about two hours. At Mangosteen Ayurveda & Wellness Resort, the five-night Ananda Healing Retreat combines Ayurvedic treatments, Reiki, yoga, meditation and full-board meals. The exact treatment mix follows the property's current program and your consultation there.

This first retreat gives you a more flexible rhythm before the longer, more structured stay in India. We leave room for rest rather than filling every open hour with activities.

03

About 14 nights

Kerala, India

Make space for deeper practice.

Continue to Thiruvananthapuram through a connecting airport, then take a private transfer to the Somatheeram Ayurveda group near the coast. A 14-night Panchakarma program is the heart of this version of the journey, with the specific therapies and suitability determined by the resort's clinicians.

Choose AyurSoma for more contemporary rooms and spacious bathrooms, Somatheeram for traditional cottages in a garden setting, or Manaltheeram for a beach-oriented stay. We compare the actual room, program and access for your dates. This is a good time to step back from your devices and let the program set the pace.

04

2–3 nights if returning via Singapore

The journey home

Protect the return, too.

Our preferred return builds in another Singapore pause before the long flight home. If you would rather extend the trip, we can explore Tokyo for a city stay and shiatsu, or Dubai for dining, a massage and a different flight home. A Miami Beach pause can suit travelers returning through Florida.

We compare each return route against your departure city, energy and dates. A routing that looks elegant on a map is only worth choosing if the connections and recovery time work in real life.

What we verify before proposing dates

The details make the journey.

Flight schedules, connection time, cabin comfort and enough recovery days on both sides of the long-haul travel.

Current retreat inclusions, the right Kerala property and room, transfer arrangements and any differences in treatment access.

Whether a longer Panchakarma stay is appropriate for you. Travel planning does not replace advice from an independent qualified clinician.

Make it yours

The route begins with your life, not a template.

Tell us your departure city, available time, wellness goals and whether a partner is coming. We will shape the pacing and the properties around you.
